Do you enjoy working with people? .....Then you are eligible to apply for a rewarding career as a Driving Instructor CRB Checks: Before you can register with the DSA and apply for the part 1 test, you must apply for the criminal records checks. Below you will find out about the 3 qualifying stages of being an Approved Driving Instructor..... PART 1 Theory & Hazard Perception test: The part 1 test is a test of your knowledge of the Highway Code, Instructional techniques amongst other things. The theory part of the test consists of 100 multiple choice questions. You must achieve at least 85% to pass the theory test. The hazard perception test contains 14 video clips. You must score 57 points out of 75 to pass the test. PART 2 the Driving Ability test: The driving ability test is a test of your driving skills. You will be trained fully for this test. You will be amazed how quickly your driving will improve to the DSA standard. PART 3 Instructional Ability test: After passing the part 2 test, forty hours of training will be provided. After the forty hours you can apply for a trainee licence, which lasts for 6 months. We can supply training to the highest standard.
